Gala Quatre Temps
The Fondation Orchestre symphonique de Longueuil held its annual benefit gala on October 7, 2019, at L’Étoile Banque Nationale in Brossard. This first benefit event of Alexandre Da Costa as the new conductor of the Orchestre symphonique de Longueuil raised $100,500. The highly talented artist, Joël Legendre, hosted this warm evening titled “Gala Quatre Temps”. In a packed room, the 400 guests were able to savour the Four Seasons of Buenos Aires by the great Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla performed by Alexandre Da Costa on his 1701 Stradivarius and the musicians of the Orchestra. This Hispanic classical music, full of passionate tangos, harmonized with a menu composed of Latin culture dishes. Alexandre is a great lover of Latin culture and one of the few violinists and chefs who is considered an expert in this Hispanic classical music.
