Outdoor concerts of the Boucherville Town Hall Rendez-vous
Until 2019 conducted by Marc David, the Boucherville Town Hall Rendez-vous offer large-scale symphonic concerts featuring renowned artists accompanied by the musicians of the Orchestre symphonique de Longueuil. These annual concerts began in 2008 with a Tribute to Pavarotti. It is with great emotion and in a masterful manner that Marc David concluded 25 years of career with the Orchestre symphonique de Longueuil in front of a crowd of 12,000 people during the outdoor concert, on July 4, 2019. On that occasion, Marc David was awarded the Medal of the National Assembly by the Minister of Culture and Communications and Member of Parliament for Montarville, Nathalie Roy.

The 2020 concert has been cancelled due to the health crisis. It would have been conducted by Alexandre Da Costa with the great Claude Dubois as guest soloist. The conductor, the musicians of the Orchestra and the thousands of people who attend these annual Rendez-vous are all eager to get together to celebrate these beautiful moments once again.

Concerts during the summer season in the municipalities of Montérégie
Since 2020, a music catalog has been sent to municipalities in the Montérégie region and beyond, as part of their cultural programming’s development. Outdoor locations are selected by the city (park, plaza, seniors’ residence) to offer citizens a high-quality cultural experience.

In 2020, musicians of the Orchestra visited Longueuil, Saint-Anicet, Saint-Alexis-des-Monts and Ormstown and gave several performances: Barock symphonique, Mémoire collective and Les Huit Saisons d’Alexandre.
